Dataset Abstract

This dataset contains the calculation of species richness index, Shannon's index, Simpson's Index and Pielou's evenness index for each plot and region, based on the number of individuals.

Each index has been calculated twice, once using only the focal species for the region and secondly using all species present in the plot.

The script to calculate the indices can be found under the Tree community composition, diversity and regeneration project on this portal.

Spatial Extent

Finland, Spain, Italy, Romania, Poland and Germany

Taxonomic Extent

The focal species in each region and others species.
