Dataset Abstract

The main objectives of this task are to quantify the decomposition of a standard woody material (wood sticks), and to relate this information to tree diversity and environmental gradients across sites.

Dataset Design

See sampling protocol: “Litter decomposition” for details

Spatial Extent

Germany - Hainich

Temporal Extent

This file contains the mass loss data for wood sticks placed to decompose in October 2012 and collected in April 2013
